durable to insure product quality; to
eliminate damage, all single bulbs
are encased in clear plastic and Bi
Xenon bulbs in Styrofoam sleeve.

Discharge
Unlike Halogen bulbs, HID
bulbs DO NOT have filaments.
Instead, HID bulbs are filled
with a mixture of gases,
including Xenon.
Ignition of the HID bulbs create
an ARC between two electrodes.
Not only is HID a new type of
bulb, it redesigns the whole
lighting system.
This new system includes a pair
of HID bulbs, an electronic
starter and a ballast.

Light emitted by the HID bulb
has a color temperature
(degrees Kelvin) often
perceived in the blue scale, and
that is similar to daylight – also
known as Daylight Color
Impression.
HID lights illuminate BETTER
and their light appears more
natural to the user.

The light produced by an HID
bulb is actually white and only
appears blue in comparison to
the warmer (yellow) light
produced by halogen bulbs.

HID Lights provide 4-5 times more
light (lumens) than halogens and last
10 times longer. ( See Light Box)
They also produce “ Daylight Color
Impression” ( blue/white light) to
provide brighter, cleaner and crisper
visibility, making objects appear
more recognizable from greater
distances.
HID Lights improves safety by making
the user more visible to others.
Because HID lights DO NOT use
filaments, breakage from shock and
car vibration is eliminated .

Ballasts are technologically
complex units which convert
incoming power into High
Voltage, igniting and
maintaining a steady stream of
energy to the HID bulbs.
All Ballasts convert DC input to
AC Output.
Without a Ballast to convert and
regulate the power, the HID bulb
will not function
The Ballast also acts as a monitor to the lighting system. If there is
damage to either the starter or the bulb, the ballast shuts down the
flow of power to prevent further damage and exposure.
