KEN NetCom Data Logging System
System Overview

KEN NetCom is a data logging system that can contain 7000
program runs.

The system is Ethernet based with web access. It contains the
XML facility for interfacing external data exchange/collection,
e.g. tracking system.

Operation log
The operation log shows all log entries stored in
the system.
The log entries are displayed with an icon
indicating the type of the log entry:
The green icon means data from a program that
has been completed.
The yellow icon means that there is a comment
about a program that has been completed.
The red icon means that an error occurred
during the program and the program was not
completed correctly. Incorrect programs are
automatically suspended and the user's
attention is drawn to the problem.
The batch number and time stamp of the log
entries are also displayed.
You can scroll up and down the operation log
using the blue up and down arrows on the right.
You can click on individual log entries for more
Information.

Operation log
Search Option
At the bottom of the operation log page, you have three options for
searching the operation log:
1:
By date. The system now finds data from the selected date
backwards, with the selected date appearing first, followed by the
earlier log entries.
2:
You can use the second search option to view log entries during a
specified period by selecting a start and end date.
3:
All log entries.
Backup Option
If you click "Backup data" from the operation log page, a file containing all log
entries is generated. This file is sent to the PC connected to the NetCom system.
Print Option
You can print any page displaying a program run or a service
message by clicking the printer icon.
Save Option
You can use this function to save a local copy of the log entries

Technical Data
KEN NetCom can be installed in the following machines:
- IWD 2xxx
- IWD 521
The machines use different control systems. Some machines use the
Com2000 control system, and others use the Com2005 control
System.
Com2000 has a modular structure, therefore KEN NetCom is designed as a module for these
systems.
Com2005 consists of a computer and an operating panel. NetCom is connected to the
network via. an RJ-45 socket.
