What is Digital PAL Technology
 Digital lens technology or free-from, is an improved method
of lens manufacturing that utilizes five axis surfacing
equipment for lens production
 This new generation of surfacing equipment eliminates the
need for traditional hard lap tools while using a minimal
amount of soft tools
 The polishing process utilizes an intelligent computer
controlled polishing system that conforms to complex
changing surfaces of the lens
 Most digital PALs use either a digital mold on the front and
digital surfacing on the back or digital surfacing on both
surfaces for a design with tighter tolerances

 At Vision Dynamics, we use a patented lens production
process that utilizes digital free-from molds on both the
front and the back surface of the lens
 The Vision Dynamics process is the only process that
eliminates direct machining or polishing of either lens
