Aim
To recognise organisations which demonstrate best
practice and an on-going commitment to training and
developing their people.
Provides an opportunity for the many organisations
that are experiencing exciting and empowering
human resource development to share their learning
with others
Objective
By focusing on engagement, collaboration, participative
management, excellence in training initiatives,
transparency, innovation and learning and development
of both individuals and organisations.
Organisations and individuals submit entries based on
specific Training Initiatives that they believe have
contributed to the success of their organisations.

The Pearse Walsh Award for Innovation in the
Transfer of Learning to Employees

The Pearse Walsh Award
The Award is in recognition of our late Founder
Pearse Walsh and his passion for innovation and
creativity .Therefore to be eligible, you or your
team must have participated in the design and / or
delivery of a high impact learning event that was
innovative, fun and added real value to the
individuals who were involved.

Application Questions
• How the development need was identified?
• A clear link between the need for development and the
business case
• Evidence of innovation in the way the intervention was
designed and delivered
• What were the key deliverables?
• What was different about this piece of learning?
• What was the impact and how did the innovation
contribute to the learning experience and the business
in general?

The Prize
The winner will receive the specially commissioned
Pearse Walsh Award and an individual or team prize of
€1,000, plus a company prize totalling €5,000 of free
consultancy time.
