New “Unified “ IDU-E
• Replaces all 8 different IDU-E products
• Supports 2 options :
• Ethernet services only (2 ports) or
• TDM (4 ports) + Ethernet (2 ports) services.
• Both options include an SFP interface to enable E3/T3 services
• The TDM ports are user configurable (E1/T1)
• Independent clock per TDM port to support several networks
• Dual wide range DC power supply
Airmux 200 Slide 11
1+1 Link Redundancy
• Monitored Hot Standby (MHS) 1+1 solution provides TDM service redundancy
with high reliability
• Switching occurs upon equipment failure or loss of air interface
• Automatic switching time < 50 msec
• Requires an MHS cable between IDU’s at both ends
