The SML is the key component of enabling the register for exchange of business

• Profiles define na actor comunicaion capability.
• Profiles represent a process not a message, in
processes a conversation or protocol envolving a set
of messages is clearly defined
• All profiles have a core imutable version, ensuring
minimum compatability, but can be extended using
conbinations ofspecific modules for specific
scenarios
