A student engineering entrepreneur team from CECS's Department of Mechanical,
Materials and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) won the top prize of $100,000 and a
summer trip to the White House in the 2012 ACC Clean Energy Challenge, a
competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
