My bakery will make you the cake of your dreams.
We can loosely be described as a quick-service
restaurant where customers sit around a bar and watch
their desserts being made. Also we’ll have a catalog
with different models of cakes so the customer can
order depending on what they want. My bakery will hold
true to its vision of being a new concept with an new
fashioned feel in order to become a favorite spot for
Florida natives. We plan to manipulate our location in
the Business Improvement District to our utmost
advantage.
My bakery will be a total success. I will sale
delicious desserts for a low price. Also because all my
customers will be treat the way they deserve, and we’ll
do anything to make them happy. I will personally make
sure that my employees treat my customers right. I will
keep the place really clean and neat.
To open a bakery, you must first obtain a business license.
The business license gives you permission to legally operate
your bakery within a specific jurisdiction. According to the
Small Business Administration, if the restaurant is involved in
activities regulated by a federal agency, such as interstate
transport of animal products or plants, you may need a
federal business license. State, county or local agencies may
require licensing and charge an annual fee or a percentage of
your sales to maintain the license. As with any business, a
new restaurant must exist as a legal entity at the local, state
and federal level. Even when registered as a corporation with
both the IRS and a state Department of Revenue, a
restaurant must comply with local business licensing
guidelines. This sometimes means registering a trade name
at city hall, while other situations require more complex
licensing.
My company’s mission is to make great cakes
and delicious desserts. My mission is to make
customers want to buy at my bakery and make them
happy. I also want to make kids happy by making
them the cake of their dreams with their favorite
movie characters. Also I want to sale my sweets at a
fair price.
the owners of my bakery will run the company as
managers. We’ll make sure everything is alright with
all the employees and customers.
My Company will be located in Miami
Beach , Florida AT 11 Washington Ave,
Miami Beach, FL 33139. THE REASON MY
COMPANY WILL BE LOCATED HEAR IS
BECAUSE I’VA NOTICE THAT THIS PLACE HAS
A LARGE POPULATION. ALSO BECAUSE THIS
PLACE has a lot of tourists from other
places of the nation and when they
come to visit they want to try
everything.
Get
all the licenses
necessary.
Begin constructing.
Have a successful
opening.
Have a lot of customers.
Have at least three
employees.
I will have a lot of
opportunities within the
industry. I will have the
opportunity to progress. Make
a lot of customers, and also
make a lot of money. I will
have the opportunity to
become popular and better
than the competition.

Since our business is small we want to start using
QuickBooks for ours accounting system. After a while operation the
system, and as we progress we want to change our accounting
system to something better. Bookkeeping software that combines a
variety of accounting processes into one user-friendly system. The
software's primary function is to alleviate the use of multiple
tables, spreadsheets, and tracking sheets necessary to document
and maintain accounting tasks at a company. Accounting figures
are also easily reconciled for tax purposes with Quickbooks. The
software was developed by Intuit and can be customized based on
the needs of the business utilizing the software.
I want to use QuickBooks system because since 65% of the smalls
business use the system I want to use it too.


Business License


Sales Permit


Cities and counties normally require a bakery to have a
business license issued by the city or county. These are
typically annual licenses, renewed each year for a fee. If
the business is in an unincorporated area of the county,
the county normally issues the license, while bakeries
within the city limits obtain a license through the city.
Some states require a business to obtain a fictitious
business name, in which the bakery registers its business
name according to the rules of the state.
If the state charges sales tax, the bakery owner typically
needs a sales permit. Rules regarding taxable items vary
by state, with some states exempting certain types of
food from sales tax. Another consideration is if the food
is carryout or eaten on the premises like a restaurant.
The food sales tax exception normally does not apply to
restaurant food.
Health Department Permit

The bakery typically needs a permit from the local
health department. The health department might also
require certain employees of the bakery to obtain food
handler's cards. These are certificates the employee
earns after completing a food safety class. The health
department will periodically check the bakery to verify
the business is complying with health and safety
standards set for food establishments.
