The biggest problems faced by the Max Moore
Memorial Treehouse are the lack of awareness throughout the community and the need for funding of the project.
By holding a race along the Saranac River Trail, we can raise awareness and funding for the project.
This will enable the tree house to be branded as a keystone piece of Plattsburgh recreation.
To have a successful race, that will lead to funding and greater awareness of the Max Moore Memorial

“If a 5-year-old cares this much about this project, we need to make it happen so that is why I sort of became the champion of the cause. I just don’t want to let down a 5-year-old.”
