Getting an order
• An order is a legal document that outlines
your responsibility to your child.
• We can get an order by using an
Administrative Process or a Judicial Process
(Court).
• An order may be for paternity and/ or
support.

• Notify employers to deduct support
from wages
• Intercept tax refunds and lottery
winnings
• Suspend licenses such as driver license
• Notify the credit reporting agencies
