Swadhar Pune for Destitute women and Children with over 50 alternate schools for school drop-outs, Mohor- day and night creche and education for 60 sex worker’s children . •Run my own clinic Prerana-Dham counseling centre and conduct workshops for children, parenting , Premarital counselling and Marital counseling. •Director and founder of NrityaPrerana Bharatnatyam Dance Institute for last 26 years and an established Bharatnatyam Danseuse having performed on National TV,several dance ballets like Kunti –Ek-Katha, Deepshikha,NrityaRamayan, Freedom etc and have performed both in India and abroad. ©Copyright Suchitra Date What is Counselling? • Counselling is commonly known as talking therapy. • Gives you the space, time, and opportunity to explore issues which you believe are imposing on you or your life in an unhelpful way. • The way we react as individuals to people or situations is often governed by things that have happened in our past as young as under five years.
