9 rural schools (8 in TN and 1 in AP) with 5820 children
58% on scholarship, 47% girls
40 Govt. Schools in 4 districts of TN impacting more than 28000 children.

Harini is the daughter of an electrician who earns Rs.200/as his daily wage and he gets to earn only for 15 - 20 days in a month. His irregular income does not meet the family expense and they live under the poverty line. Her mother is a house wife. Harini also has a younger sister Swetha studying in UKG in Isha Vidhya under the scholarship program.
