EURO-DIN CONNECTORS APP
The Anderson Power Products family of DIN connectors exceeds the requirements of DIN 43589-1 and EN
1175-1 for the 80 amp., 160 amp. and 320 amp. connectors and incorporates the newest technical features for
ease of assembly and use.
KEY FEATURES













Exceeds EN 1175-1 and DIN 43589-1 standards. Intermateable with all standard commercial charging
connectors.
Complies with the European Machinery Directive : 89/392/EEC.
Silver-plated, high conductivity copper contacts for 80 amp., 160 amp. and 320 amp. applications.
Suitable for all six (6) commonly used voltages : 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 80V and 96V with polarization
and voltage coding pin.
Accepts the following wire sizes :
o 80A : 10 mm², 16 mm², 25 mm²or 35 mm².
o 160A : 16 mm², 25 mm², 35mm² or 50 mm².
o 320A : 50 mm², 70 mm² or 95 mm².
Streamlined design affords lower cost, fewer components, ease of assembly and improved functionality.
High impact resin with high resistance to acids and harsh environments according to EN 1175-1.
Lower profile, integral handles that are much easier to use.
Provision for integral air or water tube, incorporated into the voltage-key (article nr. beginning with
EVKA…) or fitted separately (article nr. beginning with ETAT…).
Contains four (4) auxiliary contact positions providing greater versatility for new OEM designs, featuring
full compatibility with existing auxiliary contact systems.
Voltage keying provides additional safety, preventing cross voltage mating.
Operating temperature : -25°C to 90°C.
Carries the CE approval.
