Currently operates between Chile, Colombia and Peru. Once Mexico joins, the MILA will be the second stock exchange in Latin America after Bovespa in Brazil. • CEOs of the four countries make recommendations to Governments on their perspectives and priorities for the integration process. • Promotion of economic cooperation trade between Alliance members and joint actions with third markets, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. 13/04/2015 19 Main Achievements 25 observer countries. 3 more aspiring Costa Rica will become a full member of the Alliance once the accession process is completed. New levels of ambition in cooperation, movement of people, regulatory improvements, intellectual property, tourism, promotion agencies. 13/04/2015 22 The Agenda of the Pacific Alliance Incorporation of new issues in the discussions (i.e. tax transparency, SMEs, relationship with the private business sector).
