F1000Prime is a collection of innovative tools and services which, at its heart, brings together the opinions of over 6,000 expert scientists and clinical researchers to highlight only the best research in over 40 disciplines. http://f1000.com/prime/tour WHAT IS F1000PRIME? Launched in 2002, F1000Prime was conceived as a collaboration of 1,000 international Faculty Members. The name stuck even though the Faculty and remit of the services continues to grow. F1000Prime now forms a fully searchable database, containing more than 150,000 records. On average, 1,500 new recommendations are contributed by the Faculty each month. The journal is indexed and/or abstracted by PubMed, PubMed Central, Scopus, Embase, Global Health and CAB Abstracts. http://f1000.com/prime/reports/browse F1000JOURNAL CLUBS An online tool to create, organize, manage and share the conclusions of journal clubs. Its features include: online meeting scheduler; PubMed and F1000Prime integration; article voting and shortlisting; PDF extractor and presentation creator; audiovisual uploading tool and Journal Club report writing. WHAT IS F1000RESEARCH? F1000Research is an Open Science publishing platform for life scientists, offering immediate publication and transparent refereeing, avoiding editorial bias and ensuring the inclusion of all source data. F1000Research accepts all scientifically sound articles, ranging from single findings, case reports, protocols, replications, and null or negative results to more traditional articles. Referee reports and author comments are visible to anyone. View count shows how many people read the referee report Referee reports are citable with a DOI.
