Mind-Map: Produce a detailed Mind-Map on the theme ‘Distortion’. Start with a broad Mind-Map containing a lot of ways the theme can be interpreted. Develop one or more of your ideas in more detail, thinking about artists, techniques, materials and subject. Find images and artists that inspire you and add to your Mind-Map in relevant places. I want to know what your initial ideas are for developing the theme. Artist Research: Research an artist that is relevant to your ideas. Use the attached sheet to help you select a relevant artist. Produce two large studies of the artists work using appropriate materials and be prepared to explain to the class how the artist has helped to inspire your ideas.
