LEARNING TRAIL!!!
Agape Curriculum Team has launched an innovative strategy which
will make the curriculum visible and alive to parents when they step
into our centre. We called it “LEARNING TRAIL”. From the display,
parents are able to see the learning trail wall near the entrance. The
purpose of this learning trail is to see the activities done by individual
class from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2 class. This learning trail will
showcase the weekly progress of each class in different subject areas
and how the teachers engaged the children in activities which various
concepts that has been taught (e.g. art and craft, cookery, storytelling
and role playing). In term 3 newsletter, we are presenting the
“LEARNING TRAIL” concept which showcase children’s different
learning approaches, i.e. Story Based Curriculum, Phonics, Math,
Readers and Chinese Curriculum. By looking at the pictures, you can
feel the excitement and joy in their our children’s learning @ Agape!

respectively.
Children will be going Kids Maze for their Children’s Day Celebration!

with so much fun
and learning.
They did art and
craft such as
Fireworks,
Singapore flag
and Merlion
collage.
On 28 June 2010, K1 and K2 children went on a
learning journey to NTUC Fair Price at Jurong Point
Shopping Centre. They had a chance to explore and
experience the different kinds of food in a
supermarket.
K2 children together with
their student buddies had a
great time doing their art
activity in one of Primary One
classroom. Student buddies
did a good job in assisting K2
children in buying foods in
canteen. Hats off to you
student buddies!!
N1 class did “caterpillar
art and craft” using egg
cartons for their story
“The Hungry Caterpillar”
N2 Children are coloring the pictures of animals to be
used for role play in the story titled ‘ The Little Red Hen’.
K2 children learnt about amphibians, characteristics of
frogs and frog hand painting after listening to the story
“King of the Pond”
