When asked whether the program would continue

“definitely not. Shearson is the whole show.”

shelter. If you have room in your heart for an older
cat, try the Shady Acres Nursing Home. In
September, a group of residents saw a news report
about older cats at the city’s animal shelter. “So m
any of them were being put to sleep,” explains 92year-old Pearl Logan. “I just couldn’t stand it.”
Residents decided to rescue some of the older cats
and offer them for adoption. So far, they have
found homes for ten cats.
