RIT: (Rasch Unit) The RIT Scale is a
curriculum scale that uses individual item
difficulty values to estimate student
achievement. The RIT Scale has the following
characteristics:

Equal interval scale
Helps to measure growth over time
Same meaning regardless of grade or age of student
