Why use OAT? – Graphical user interface – Visual representational of Informix database server information – Remote administration – Administration of multiple instances easily – Requires no changes on the database server – Up-to-date with the newest Informix database server features – Easy to use – Easy to install (comes with CSDK) – Lowers the learning curve for new users – Free – Open Source – Customizable with plug-ins – Interface available in multiple languages May 2012 What’s new in OAT? © 2012 IBM Corporation Automated Installation Install OAT as part of CSDK 3.70 – OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) is no longer a separate download.
