PARENT QUESTIONS
It is the belief of the IAR Health Department that parent-child communication is a vital part
of adolescent development. Your child is growing up fast and with each passing day he or she
is becoming more aware of certain topics that were previously never given a second thought.
As health teachers, we are aware that sometimes it is difficult to find a way to broach the
subject of sex with your child. This Parent Interview Project was designed to give you an
opportunity to talk with your child about sex and other issues related to the topic.
We appreciate your support and cooperation in our endeavor.
Please complete the questions below; we value your feedback!
1. Have you spoken with your child prior to this interview about any of the topics discussed
in the interview? Please circle which ones:
R-Rated Movies
Clothing Issues
Adolescent Dating
Teenage Sex
Safe Use of Technology
2. During your interview with your child, did you talk about anything else related to Human
Sexuality? If so, what?
3. Are there any questions/topics that you feel should be added to this project?
