Program Directly from CAD
Draw in CAD or import IGES or DXF CAD files. Simply select tools and
assign cuts to the geometry and you get Mazatrol output.
Import CAD files into a true CAD/CAM
system for Mazatrol and G-code
If the customer supplies a CAD file, you can simply import it instead of
spending all the time re-entering every dimension on the blueprint. This
saves considerable time (as most of the time of CNC programming is
entering the geometry) and error (as it is easy to misread some blue-prints,
aside from just the regular type of problem).

Mazatrol programs are easier to understand because actions are designated in commonly
used machinist terms, like "Drilling", "Tapping". "Pocket", "Chamfer", etc., versus G-Code is
all code words.

Mazatrol programs are much shorter, often a few pages of program versus G-Code which
takes hundreds or thousands of lines to do the same task. When the operator looks at the
Mazatrol program, such as to make tweaks to the program or to re-start at a certain
process, or just to follow what is going on, it is far easier to find and understand the Mazatrol
program.

Programming in Mazatrol uses all the advantages above. But when one programs the Mazak with G-code only, one loses the Mazatrol
