Getting Started
How the United States government
interacts with the world affects
people around the globe.
What does this mean?
Can you think of examples of
how our government policies
affect other countries?
You will
1. choose a specific US foreign policy:
adoption, immigration, or piracy.
2. State a position on that policy.
Ask yourself, how effective is the policy?
You will evaluate a specific foreign policy
based on an analysis of its causes and
effects.
Create a thesis statement that defines
your position. (Cause and Effect is the key to
creating your thesis)
