Global Scholar Benchmark Assessment Training Student Test Administration Step 1: Go to www.performanceseries.com Step 2: Students must enter the school’s site ID The site ID is a ten-digit number specific to your school. Students must include the dashes when entering the ID. Step 3: Students click the bubble to the left of the test they will be take. If students click here, then it will take them back to the site ID screen. ESL Students Can Take Test in Español. Step 4: Students then enter an ID that is unique to them and click ‘Next’. KEEP STUDENT ID NUMBERS CONFIDENTIAL BETWEEN YOU AND THE STUDENT! Step 5: The system will ask students to confirm if the name on the screen is theirs. Students choose click Yes or No. Step 6: After a student confirms identity, then he/she receives test instructions. Click Begin Test when ready to start testing. A. Can students pause a test and come back to it later? YES, students can pause the test and resume later. However, the test must be completed within two weeks, or the test will “spoil” . If a test “spoils”, then the student will have to re-take it from the beginning. How can I see which students have taken/finished/not started the test? Login as staff, click Performance Tests, Click Students Tested This Testing Period or Unfinished and Inactive Tests, or Spoiled Tests. Will the test questions time out if students take too long to answer? There is no time limit on the questions – the system will have a screen pop up asking if the student is 'still there' after five minutes or so. Can students re-take an assessment if they didn’t perform to their level? Yes, a student can take any test as many times as needed - no one needs to assign them to it, all of the tests are always available for all of the students. If the re-take is more successful than the original test, the teacher has two options: 1.) Leave the first test in Performance Series for historical analysis - the most current test will always be used for all reports. 2.) Go to the building location controller and have them spoil the first test, effectively deleting it from the system altogether. Are there sample/practice items prior to the test?
