 7. Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Habit 1: Be Proactive
 Realize that your decisions (and how they align with
life's principles) are the primary determining factor
for effectiveness in your life. Take responsibility for
your choices and the consequences that follow.
 Mengambil tindakan tanpa disuruh. Sedar bahawa
keputusan anda merupakan faktor kejayaan.
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
 Bear in mind what you hope to achieve in the UPSR
and work towards it.
 Bermula dengan akibat yang diingini pada akhirnya.
Tindakan dan keputusan diambil untuk mencapai
kejayaan dalam UPSR – 5 A.
Habit 3: Put First Things First
 Prioritise – attend to things according to importance
and urgency
 Melakukan kerja mengikut kepentingan
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
 Genuinely strive for mutually beneficial solutions or
agreements in your relationships. Value and respect
people by understanding a "win" for all is ultimately
a better long-term resolution than if only one person
in the situation had got his way.
 Memilih penyelesaian di mana kedua-dua pihak
mendapat manfaat / kebaikan melalui kerjasama.
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to
be Understood
 Though more suitable for managers , this habit can
be used to strengthen relationships. Create an
atmosphere of caring, and positive problem solving.
 Walaupun tabiat ini lebih sesuai untuk seorang
pengurus / pentadbir/ majikan , tetapi boleh juga di
gunakan untuk memperkukuhkan perhubungan di
antara rakan sedarjah atau guru.
Habit 6: Synergize
 Combine the strengths of people through positive
teamwork, so as to achieve goals no one person could
have done alone.
 Menggabungkan kekuatan melalui kerja berpasukan
untuk mencapai objektif bersama
 – misalnya Mentor –mentee, “ group study”,
perbincangan, tugasan kumpulan
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
 Balance and renew your resources, energy, and
health to create a sustainable, long-term, effective
lifestyle, emphasizing physical , spiritual , mental
and social renewal.
 Memperbaiki / menambah / memperbarui sumber,
tenaga serta kesihatan untuk membentuk cara hidup
yang berjaya – dari segi fizikal, “spiritual’, mental
dan sosial.
