The Pardoner’s Tale
TASK: ANALYZE A MORALITY TALE, LINK
THE CHARACTER TO THE TALE HE TELLS
Pardoner’s Tale
Some people have said:
“The love of money is the root of all evil”
In other words, all evil can be linked in some way to
money. Think of it like a tree:
What grows is “evil”
the “roots” are money
(they feed “evil”)
Pardoner’s Tale - Journal
“The love of money is the root of all evil”
Now, what do you think:
 Do you believe this phrase is true?
 Why or why not?
 Give an example of why you believe your opinion is
true.
