It is the vendor’s responsibility to find all notices. Check back often. The CMBL annual registration fee is $70.00. http://www.cpa.state.tx.us/procurement/prog/cmbl/ If you are not signed up on the CMBL. You will need to visit the Current Contracting Initiatives page http://www.dir.texas.gov/ict/cci/Pages/currentcontractinginitiatives.aspx Submit your RFO response to DIR. We then evaluate all responses received and determine which vendors offer the best value for our customers. The highest scoring vendors are then invited to negotiate. Contracts will be awarded to one or more vendors. Prime vendors wishing to name resellers for their contract should list these resellers on their HUB Subcontracting plan in their RFO response. Prime vendors can amend their list of resellers at any time by updating their HUB subcontracting plan. NOTE: resellers can sell only the product/services awarded under the Prime Vendor’s contract. 13 West Texas Business Summit, November 13, 2013 How to Become a Reseller for a Prime Vendor Go to Co-op products and services search and browse for potential partners. Confirm that the products and services you offer align with the contract offering. NOTE: New products and services are added only through the RFO process and cannot arbitrarily be added to the prime vendor’s contract. Contact the prime vendor and negotiate directly. NOTE: This process is handled exclusively between you and the prime vendor. Once the prime vendor submits a request to us to add you as a reseller and we have approved that request, then our contract manager will add you to the website. 14 West Texas Business Summit, November 13, 2013 I have a contract now what? • Eligible Customers Include State Agencies Higher K-12 Education Independent School Districts Cities Counties State of Texas Coop Members http://www.window.state.tx.us/procurement/prog/coop/ Municipal Out Water Districts of State Governmental Entities – Eligible as of September 2005 http://www.dir.texas.gov/ict/overview/pages/customersoutsidetexas.aspx Assistance Organizations registered with the Texas Facilities Commission or the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts – Eligible as of September 2007 15 West Texas Business Summit, November 13, 2013 Questions: Cooperative Contract Program Lisa Maldonado, HUB Coordinator Lisa.maldonado@dir.texas.gov 512-463-5662 Lynn Sanchez, HUB Coordinator Lynn.sanchez@dir.texas.gov 512-463-9813 Denny Ross, Purchasing Manager Denny.Ross@dir.texas.gov 512-463-7777 Carrie Cooper, Purchasing Carrie.cooper@dir.texas.gov 512-936-2353 Technology Sourcing Office www2.dir.state.tx.us 16 West Texas Business Summit, November 13, 2013
