CHANGES FOR 2014
Why the Changes?
 The TCA Web Page
(TCAP) is being modified
in response to new airline
industry crew rest rules
governed by FAR Part 117,
which took effect January
4, 2014.

Objectives
 Assist airline industry in
mitigating delays,
diversions, and or
cancellations resulting
from the FAR Part 117
rules.
 Allow the ATCSCC the
ability to efficiently track
FAR Part 117 requests
received via the TCAP.

Changes being made
 Category level buttons will be in alignment.
 In the “Special Request” section of the Add New TCA
Issue Page a new line/button will added titled “Delay
Mitigation” specifically for FAR Part 117 and 3 hour
tarmac delay requests.
 Additional bullet under the Category 1 List for FAR Part
117
