It’s feudal Japan. You are a part of a local clan led by a daimyo.
Play rock, paper, scissors to decide who is the daimyo – the daimyo names the clan
Play rock, paper, scissors to find two samurai
The rest of you are peasants.
It’s 1600. The daimyo wants all in his clan learn to live by samurai wisdom. He leads the clan in trying to be the first to read excerpts from the Hagakure and determine the main idea.
Daimyo – lead your group in reading and interpreting. Have one member write the main idea and he/she has to get permission from you to have it checked by the shogun, your teacher.
Once the main idea has been approved, all members write it and continue the process until you’ve interpreted all the wisdom.
The first clan to correctly interpret all the main ideas can challenge the shogun for power. If he/she beats the shogun in rock/paper/scissor, he gets to be the shogun and make one class law.
