Do Now: Warm-up and Read the Announcements – Download SS
examples from website if you haven’t already.
SS Mini Lesson: Solfege exercises, skips, rhythms
SS Grapple: 30 seconds individual study. Now sing it.
SS Guided Practice: 30 seconds sectional rehearsal with teacher as
needed.
SS Grapple: Now sing it with corrections.
SS Guided Practice: Last 30 seconds to rehearse for POLISH. Prepare it.
SS Application: Now sing the whole thing together with corrections
utilizing musical and performance elements.
SS Debrief: What did we do well? What do we need to work on? What
could we have done to do better this time? Can we do it next time?
RR Grapple: New Section of Music
RR Guided Practice: Introduction of Parts per voicing. Sing it with me.
Now let’s put it together.
RR Application: Your turn to sing it without guidance. Go back and fix
it. Solidify. Do it again.
