You must repeat the course either
in Summer School or the
following year.

in order to graduate.

What is an Advanced Regents
Diploma with Honors?
The highest diploma distinction
you can receive in high school.
You must attain an overall average
of 90% or higher on the required
regents examination.
What are Honors Level Classes?
Higher caliber classes within a
required discipline
More work, more independence,
weighted grade
Honors classes begin in grade 10
and require an application
Why take Honors classes?
Colleges recognize that students who
take honors level classes are better
prepared for college and are willing to
challenge themselves.
 Honors classes carry a weight of 1.04
and AP classes carry a weight of 1.06
which is used for class rank and G.P.A.

