will be created from qualified district staff and ESC
specialists to review EdGate’s recommendations.
(Applications were distributed through ESCs.)
• Final test revisions will be submitted to the CSCOPE
Assessment Team for the creation of enhanced unit tests
for 2012-13.

Transition to
New Site
Update on New Website
• The new CSCOPE site with enhanced features and
functionality will launch in early July 2012!
• 3rd Learning, the educational technology services
provider working with the TESCCC to build our
new CSCOPE website, is well on their way to
completing the architecture of the new site.
New Technology Provider
• Representatives from 3rd Learning have been in
a continuous process of gathering input and
feedback from all CSCOPE stakeholder groups to
ensure a truly collaborative design effort.
• CSCOPE, in partnership with 3rd Learning, will
provide training support and videos that will be
available to end users both on the new site and
through your ESC.
Update on New Website
Some of the exciting features of the new system include:
• Dynamic CSCOPE components such as an interactive YAG
that provides quick and easy access to IFDs and Exemplar
Lessons
• Capability to move the components most frequently used
into a "My CSCOPE" area for quick access
• A suite of easy-to-use, intuitive tools
• Enhanced capabilities for end-user feedback and
comments
• New communication features including CSCOPE Updates
and CSCOPE News links on the home page
12-13 Content in New Site
IMPORTANT: Updated 2012-13 CSCOPE content will
become available in the new system as applicable to the
communicated projected posting windows.
• CSCOPE will only post 2012-13 versions of content in
the new system with enhanced features and
functionality when the site launches in July.
• CSCOPE will work with districts to ensure that
approved versions of district-created or customized
content needed for the 2012-13 school year will be
available in the new system.
Key Transition Topics:
When will the new site launch?
• The new site will become live in early July.
• More information will be coming soon about
specific dates for launch of the new site.
Will the CSCOPE URL change?
• Yes. The new user profile system will guide users to
their CSCOPE site through a universal URL.
New CSCOPE URL
www.mycscope.us
• This universal URL will lead users to their district
CSCOPE site.
• As the new site’s architecture is being developed
this spring, www.mycscope.us will be used to
communicate announcements, provide updates,
and post newsletters to ensure each user has a
smooth, seamless transition.
