Number Talks Let’s see a Number Talk in action! 2nd grade class 7th grade class Number Talks Jigsaw 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. At your table, get in groups of 4. Each person takes one card from the set. Go to the corner that matches your card. In your card group, talk about the ways students might solve your card problem. Also discuss how you would record their responses to your prompt. As a group, practice how you would record student thinking. At the signal, go back to your original table group. You will each present your number talk to the other three. Number Talks Jigsaw 7.
