5.INCORRECT REGISTRATIONS:
Please check the Honours registrations carefully
and ensure that the student is registered for the
applicable Honours qualification eg. a student with
a completed BA degree in Economics must be
registered for the Honours BA in Economics and
NOT the Honours BCom in Economics. Also note
that if a student does not have BCom status he/she
must be registered for the Honours BA or Badmin

Understanding the Expert System
1.
2.
3.
All compulsory modules are being listed under
Group A on the expert system.
If there is a choice between two modules eg. the
BCom ENM where you either need to select
QMI1500 or DSC1630, it is listed under Group B
on the expert system.
Elective modules on each level are generally
listed under Group B (if number 2 is not
applicable) or Group C if number 2 is applicable.

4. Please note the following on the Bcom GE1, IFM
& Law degrees and the BAdmin (N06) & BBA
(GEN) : Each major subject is listed in its own
group eg. Economics (Group E) & Industrial
Psychology (Group F) since 5 modules from the
SAME major subject must be selected. Please
check these registrations carefully and do not
override these registrations, since students end
up doing unnecessary extra modules.
