It receives less than two inches of precipitation annually. Antarctica is 5.5 million square miles in area. Bobcats The bobcat got its name for its short tail The bobcat can live in swamps deserts forest and mountains It is a mammal It eats rabbits birds rodents They can survive in hot areas bobcat They make their homes in dense and fallen Bobcats can live to be 25 Bobcats like to live in woods or grassy areas They usually live alone a territory that is from 5-50 miles long Adult bobcats are 30 to 45 in long Bobcats fur is red orange with black spots. Red salamander It is red with dots all over it. It is 2-5 inches long . It eats bugs like spiders, beetles , cockroaches, flies and more. Red salamander It likes the sun. It survives the heat. The Red salamander lives in the eastern united states. Rattle snake A rattle snake are a reptile because it lays eggs. There are many types of rattle snakes such as Ridge nosed rattle snake , and side winder , and the northern pacific rattle snake. Rattle snake A rattle snakes are predators. They are omnivore they eat rodents and lizards. Rattle snakes can detect odours with there tongue . Rattle snakes live in dry areas. Rattle snake rattle snakes live in the south western united states and northern Mexico . Rattle snakes tails are made of dried skin that is why they make the cool noise.
