your friend may NOT stay overnight.
PS. 即使住在水源單人房，你的朋友也不能留宿。
Even if you live in the BOT single room,
your friends still cannot stay overnight.

Can I cook in the dormitory?

房間內不能煮飯。
Cooking in your room is not allowed.
可利用公用設施廚具烹煮。
However, you can do it in the lounges. There are public
microwaves, ovens or rice cookers for use.
僅能加熱煮好的食物，不能烹煮。
You can only heat the prepared/cooked food in the
lounge.

為了安全起見，請勿在寢室使用烤麵包機、
烤箱、微波爐或電暖器。
For safety, do not use a toaster, oven,
microwave or electric radiator in your room.

balcony and emergency exit, is prohibited;

宿舍內皆不能偷竊、賭博、
酗酒鬧事、鬥毆或打麻將。
Stealing, gambling, assaulting, or playing
mahjong is not allowed in the dorms,
especially being drunk and making troubles.

“NTU Student Dormitory Management Regulations.”

Is there anything I should be aware of

尊重其他住宿生，請勿在走廊或房間內發出噪音。
To respect other residents in the dorms, keep your
volume down in the hallway or inside the room.

由於時差的關係，請您在宿舍使用網路電話時盡量
控制音量。
Due to potential time differences, please keep your
volume down when talking on the phone or webcam.

我們並沒有提供公用的洗衣籃，請勿誤拿他人洗衣籃

We do not provide public laundry baskets, please do not
mistakenly take another’s basket

dryers to clean shoes

Keep dormitory and common areas clean and save
energy every time and everywhere.
• 請勿使用飲水機洗手與傾倒食物殘渣。
Do not wash hands and dump leftover in drinking
fountain.
• 開啟空調時請關閉窗戶，以增加設備使用年限。
Please do not open the window and turn on the air
condition simultaneously.

只要床位還是你的，即使寒暑假不在，
房租仍須照繳。
As long as the room is still under your name, you
still have to pay for it even if you are not here.

萬一我中途不住了，會受到懲罰嗎?
If I live in BOT dorms,
can I cancel the contract?
Will there be any kind of penalties?

提前解約須付一個月租金作違約金。
In BOT dorms, if you move out before your
contract ends, you will have to pay a onemonth rent to the Prince Company as a
penalty.
