Story Time….

Lord Jesus was teaching in the
Synagogue
Andrew, Peter, James and John
were with him.
When they left the Synagogue,
Peter invited them to have dinner
at his house.
o
o
Peter’s wife was busy preparing dinner for
them, but she looked very sad.
LordJesus said to Peter, “Your wife looks
sad,” and Peter replied, “Yes Lord, I know,
her mother is sick with fever and her case
looks very severe.”
But
Lord Jesus said, “I will heal
her,” and then he told Peter’s wife:
Do not be afraid. I will heal your
mother, for I am the Lord who
heals everyone.”
They found her lying in the bed.
Her face was red and she cried
from the pain.
Lord
Jesus got a hold of her hand
and she rose at once and the fever
left her.
She
got up and served them
and helped in preparing dinner
for Lord Jesus and the
guests.
They all sat with the Lord
around the table in Peter’s
house and they were very
happy.

Peter, his wife and motherin-law thanked lord Jesus .
o
They served Him and His
disciples offering the best
food in the house.
o
The news of this wonderful
healing spread all over the
town.
o
At sunset, many people
came to Peter’s house
where Lord Jesus was
sitting.
o
Now when the sun was
setting, all those who had
any that were sick with
various diseases brought
them to Him and He laid
his hands on them and
healed them

Conclusion
God
is the one who heals when we are
sick.
He may work through the Doctor or
the priest’s prayer, but through it all
HE is the one who heals everybody.
