Prosecution witnesses turned defense witnesses and the prosecution failed to pursue its case. • Attorney General also mysteriously withdrew from the case and false witnesses were allowed to swear affidavits claiming property they never owned. • As evidence emerged of the massive conspiracy to rob the Maasai of 4,000 acres of their heritage, the media houses were co-opted to protect the grabbers.
