SIMPEX (PTY) LTD. Company Profile History Simpex (Pty) Ltd was established and registered in the year 1987 (Registration No.87/199) by its present owner. The vision was to establish a dual concept Company with an Import & Export division and a Wholesale & Manufacturers representative (Agency Business) division. The Company started by obtaining the right to import and sell products of Tramontina S.A. Cutelaria as well as Thermolar from Brazil. The products were imported and sold to market on an own Trade account. Two years later, Tramontina decided to expand further into Africa through the RSA, it was then decided to part with Tramontina. By then a couple of RSA based Suppliers / Principals were already on board who were represented based on an agency agreement in Namibia.
