Summary

The Buss Kneader is a compounding extruder with rotating-oscillating
screw interacting with static kneading pins in the barrel

This special working principle combines perfect dispersive and
distributive mixing with minimal heat up of the melt

Using a Buss Kneader is mainly advisable for temperature and shear
sensitive applications

For easy cleaning and quick maintenance all Buss Kneaders have a
split barrel design for opening

The kneading pins can be also effectively used for liquid injection into
the process chamber and for measuring exact melt temperature along
the barrel
