High quality woven bamboo mats of required size and quantity are impregnated with phenol formaldehyde resin to make prepregs. The prepregs are processed under controlled temperature and pressure in a compression moulding press, to fabricate bamboo composite laminate. The laminates are then cut and trimmed to the required size and sandwiched with PUF / EPS foam, core of desired density. Special protective clear polymeric coating is applied to provide high gloss and finish and also to enhance water and UV resistant characteristics of surface of the panel.
