Operating the FLEXIT MultiSmart
For a multi-shot drillhole survey, you need:The SmartTool
1
SensIT in hole probe
{NO film, batteries or cables }
2
StoreIT pocket data pad {NO stopwatch or notes
}
3
An office PC with the MeasureIT and DisplayIT software
Some Running Gear
3
Shock sub, pressure barrel & aluminium sinker bars
4
Wireline, rods, pipe or rope to run SensIT into the hole

Start the survey with the StoreIT data pad
1 Switch ON StoreIT
2 Use SETTINGS to enter:Hole reference number
Start station depth
(say, 250m)
Station depth interval (say, 6m)
Survey direction
(say, up)
3 Press DATA to confirm entries

4 Press NEW to start SensIT, using the radio chip
Preparing SensIT for running into the hole
1 Place SensIT in the pressure barrel, supported by
the spring hanger
2 Lubricate O-rings. Tighten threads by hand
3 Tong up running gear threads
4 Run SensIT to survey start station depth; hold it still.

• Checks for tool movement
• Allows you to delete or adjust unreliable readings
• See the MagIC presentation

• Checks for magnetic disturbance
How would you like to see the results?

A tabulation for each station of up to 17 measurements.
Choose only the ones you want.

A true plot of the hole in plan, E/W or N/S sections
Choose the scale, colours, marks, grid spacing
Any number of holes, collar extension on/off
Supplementary data plotted against hole path
Max/min hole separation
Exported to any other software
