The following items will result in chargeable damage: paper towels, facial tissues, disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, disposable tampons, etc. These and similar items must not be flushed. Never store items on top of the commode tank. Care should be taken to avoid dropping foreign objects. Pouring grease into sinks or toilets is forbidden. All grease should be disposed of with garbage. Plumbing If you discover a leak, notify the office immediately. Water seepage can cause severe damage to your property as well as the neighbor’s. Failure to report a water leak that causes extensive damage maybe charged to you. Disposal A disposal is a trouble-free unit if used properly. It should not be loaded too heavily. The safety overload on the motor will kick out if it is overloaded. To reset the safety overload, wait three to four minutes for the motor to cool, then push the red button on the bottom of the motor. Always use cold running water when operating the disposal. Never put your hand down the disposal when it is turned on. Dishwasher Do not crowd dishes, cups and glasses, or silverware, so water can circulate freely around each piece. Avoid covering the center hole in the lower rack for maximum efficiency. Use only dishwasher detergent products. Do not use soap or laundry soap. Any failures should be reported to the office.
