MMPOA COOKOUT & COMMUNITY DAY
WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP...You don't have to have a strong back to work during the
Community Day. We have jobs for everyone... Our Community Day is about getting together and
doing some projects that stretch our dollars and make them go further. We hope you will join us
even if you can only be there for a short time or want to partake in the cookout alone. It's
important that we get together.
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 2012 (Rain date is Sunday, June 3rd)
WHERE: We will meet at the common area at 9:30 A.M (or whenever you can get there)
SOME OF WHAT WE HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH:
 Entrance cleanup and repairs
 Community area cleanup and repairs
 Clean-up lower common area at river
 Weed whip along roadways
 Prune along roadways
 Clean “fines” from culvert pipe areas
 Road trip to get supplies for cookout
 Prepare common area for cookout
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING: Work gloves & hand tools (rake, shovel, pruners, weed-whip, etc.)
COOKOUT: Wayne and Carolyn will be treating us again this year and will be cooking a nice
turkey and ham for the Community Cookout starting at 5 pm at the Common Area (Rain location
will be at the Yaglou’s on Trails End). The association will supply the main entries and we ask you to
provide your own beverages and lawn chairs.
