New Member Orientation Triangle Soccer Officials Welcome!!!!! We are here to ensure you have an ENJOYABLE and SUCCESSFUL experience with Middle and High School soccer. Our 3 Tenants 1. Professionalism-Being on time to the field at the appropriate PRE-GAME time, looking the part, being PROFESSIONAL on the field 1. Game Management-Can you facilitate the game in a safe manner so everyone feels they got a fair shake? 1. Fitness-High Work rate which means you are in the right place to make the right decision (notice I didn’t say call) Pre-Game Contact -The referee is to contact (email, text, call) the crew 48 hours before the game. -If you do not hear from the official 47 hours before the game, contact the referee -Any crew which is unconfirmed, contact me and I will replace the official Being at the Field on Time -For any game listed in Arbiter at 6PM or earlier, you need to be at the field AT LEAST 15 minutes early to inspect the field, meet the coaches, and get rosters -For any game listed in Arbiter later than 6PM or later, you need to be at the field AT LEAST 30 minutes early Arbiter -Be sure to update your BLOCKS frequently. -This will determine your availability. -Be mindful, ARBITER caculates how long it takes to get from a game from your home. -However, you can adjust the ZIP CODE in BLOCKS to reflect your school, job etc. Badges -For all NCHSAA JV and Varsity games, you wear the NCHSAA badge -You can purchase from Honigs 919-781-8353 -For all MIDDLE school and NCISAA games, you wear the TRIANGLE SOCCER OFFICIALS BADGE Arbiter -Be sure to add a photo in the PROFILE section of Arbiter. -As a new official, Mark needs to put a name with a face Uniform -Primary Jersey is Gold. Slowly add as you do more matches. -You can wear a black undershirt if you do not have long sleeve -Socks are white 3 stripe. 2 Person Officiating -All JVs and MS games use a 2 Person System -Do not be intimidated!
