Naples, June 11th – 13th 2015
Call for papers
The Eighth International Conference in Discourse, Communication and the Enterprise
(DICOEN 2015) will be held on Naples, 11- 13 June 2015 and will be hosted by the University
of Naples (Università degli Studi di Napoli), following the successes of the first seven
conferences on the same theme (Lisbon 2001, Vigo 2003, Rio de Janeiro 2005, Nottingham
2007, Milan 2009, Hong Kong 2011 and Bejiing 2013).
DICOEN aims to promote interaction and discussion among researchers interested in the
relevance of discourse and communication to the world of business, and to expand research
networks among scholars working in the area of discourse and communication in
organisational settings. Contributions are invited from scholars working in a variety of
disciplines including: linguistics, discourse analysis, communication studies, organisation
studies, management studies, sociology, anthropology, social psychology, economics,
business economics, accountancy, marketing, etc.
The conference will be held in Naples, at the Università degli Studi di Napoli, Federico II, at
the Monte Sant’Angelo campus.

Call
We invite abstracts of 300 words. Abstracts must include affiliation and email addresses of
the author(s). Paper sessions will be 20 minute slots with 10 minutes for questions/discussion.
Selected papers will be published in a book with a first-rate publisher.

Deadline: Please submit abstracts by December 20th, 2014.
Notifications of acceptance will be sent by January 10th 2015. The participants who need to
apply for a VISA to Italy (some countries need a 6 months’ notice) will be notified within
December 31st 2014.
