Erasmus Placement, Time, thesis abroad, etc.)
- Relevant work experience (research grants, scholarships,
internship periods, period of employment);
- Awards
- Knowledge of languages: in case, indicating the certificate(s)
Thesis

Applicants waiting to be awarded the entrance qualification: those
waiting to be awarded the entrance qualification by 31st October
2014 will submit a summary of the master thesis project (max. 4
pages) signed by the applicant and the supervisor
Scientific

Publications in journals/conferences proceedings/books;
manuscripts accepted for publication will also be considered (attach
written acceptance letter or indicate the DOI)

Didactic program
The PhD course addresses the subject of controlled thermonuclear fusion in magnetically confined
plasmas. Both fusion science and technology topics are taught.
This course aim at giving its students the scientific and technological basis to became key players in
this important research task. The course covers 3 main areas:
a) Physics of Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion,
b) Engineering of a Magnetically Confined Fusion Reactor,
c) Experimental tools for diagnosing and controlling in real-time fusion relevant plasmas.
