Archetypes are recurring
characters, settings, plot
patterns, and symbols that give
literature its unity. In other
words, they are the basic
patterns that occur repeatedly
in literature of all ages.

OR IS BLAMED UNJUSTLY IN ORDER FOR OTHERS TO ESCAPE BLAME OR
