What is the College in High School (CHS)
Program?
• Awards college credit for the successful completion of approved
courses offered at participating high school
• Special SUNY reduced tuition rate
• Students are SUNY Potsdam non-matriculated undergraduates
• Students receive SUNY Potsdam transcript upon course
completion
• Most credits can be transferred to other institutions, at the
discretion of the receiving institution
Admission Requirements:
• Minimum of 80.0 grade point average in a Regents/College
preparatory curriculum
• Completion of CHS Student Application
• Copy of high school transcript
Associated Cost:
• $175 per class per student
– Reduced tuition rate vs. $836.30
– Includes College & Transcript Fees
