Preparation
Preparation
In order to facilitate a smooth account set up, it is recommended that the following decisions and actions are
taken prior to commencing the account set up.
1.
Nominate the person in the agency who can be responsible for setting up and administering the main
account on behalf of the agency.
Part of the setup involves finance information and decisions therefore it is likely the person will
have finance responsibility. See the section on Agency setup for Multiple PCC’s
2.
If your Agency has more than one PCC in the same or across multiple locations, decide how you would
like your commission to be paid.
See the section on Agency setup for Multiple PCC’s
3.
If you are a Travelport customer and use either Galileo, Apollo or Worldspan you will need to determine,
for each PCC if you have Mandatory Custom Check (Galileo or Apollo) or World File Edit (Worldspan) in
use. You will need to consider the options which are available.
See the section on GDS integration

PayPal account setup
Step 2
Create a PayPal account
•
Travelport Rooms and More uses a product of PayPal’s called “Mass Pay” which allows
Travelport to send out payments to account holders in batches, after all commissions from
all providers have been consolidated.
A PayPal account is required to receive commission, and therefore, if your agency does not
have an existing account, you will need to create one.
To create a PayPal account, visit http://www.paypal.com
– Upon arrival, select “Sign Up”
– On the next page:
• Agencies may use a Personal PayPal account for receipt of commission
• Agencies may use a PayPal Business Account.
– For level 1 Countries†, when creating a Business Account, after arriving on the next
page, select the “Web Payments Standard” product from the drop down, and
proceed. Complete all information.
– For level 2 Countries†, complete all information as instructed on the screens.
– A PayPal account needs to be linked to the bank (or method as per the options
provided) where the commission funds are to be sent, but can be set up at a
subsequent date.
•
•
† For further information on how Travelport pay commissions please refer to the
Commission Payment Process deck for full details on receiving funds from
Travelport and withdrawing funds from your PayPal account.

cases spam filters may prevent these from reaching their intended recipient.
It is also best practice to have them take responsibility for their password and change it
immediately after logging in for the first time.
You may wish to alert users to expect an e-mail and also provide them with the
following information so they can change their password.
Please login to Travelport Rooms and More™ with the details above. Please select

Please amend your password.
Select Update at the bottom of the screen.

PCC’s
Agency set up for multiple PCC’s
Where an agency has multiple PCC’s in a single or across multiple locations it is possible
to configure Travelport Rooms and More™ to have commissions paid to each location or
to have all commissions paid to a single location. This can be achieved either at the
PayPal level or the Travelport Rooms and More™ level. Looking at the following
combinations may help in making a decision for your Agency.
Consider the following:1. How many PCC’s (or individual offices)?
2. How many PayPal accounts and in which currencies?
3. Who does the commission statement need to be sent to?
It may be helpful to draw a grid, and define, for each PCC, who their statement needs to be
sent to and type of PayPal account. Examples on the following pages may assist with this.

GDS Integration
There are configuration options in the Travelport GDS’s which are used by some
agents which will prevent this integration taking place:• Galileo/Apollo – Mandatory Custom Check
• Worldspan – World File Edit
Mandatory Custom Check in Galileo & Apollo will prevent segments being
automatically created in the GDS and Travelport Rooms and More™ being
unable to create these will produce an error message to the user. (Bookings will
still be made with the Aggregator)
Agencies need to determine how best to deal with this restriction and options are
available on the next page.
NB: Optional Custom Check is not affected and integration will take place.
NB: Worldspan File Edit is not affected and integration will take place

Management of User
Accounts
Making a User inactive
The Master account holder will need to from time to time set an account as
inactive for an agent who leaves the agency.
As Travelport Rooms and More™ still requires booking information attached to
this user we advise that passwords are changed for these inactive accounts.
The process is as follows:-
On the home page select the
‘I lost my password/login option’
